The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeastern Pennsylvania recently held the Back-to-School Health Fair in partnership with Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Club members from the Central Unit, Park It sites and Luzerne County Club extensions received free back-to-school health screenings administered by area health care professionals. Healthcare professionals and organizations from all over Lackawanna County volunteered their time to educate and safeguard Club members in preparation for the back-to-school season. Volunteers from Moses Taylor also checked blood pressure and body temperature. Pictured at left is Club member Kaitlyn Roman, getting her blood pressure taken by Theresa Baker, Moses Taylor Hospital.
