The Club members were judged on family, school, community, and Boys & Girls Club involvement, as well as personal challenges and obstacles overcome.  Representatives from the community volunteered their time to judge the competition.  Pictured are judges (l-r) Heidi Belin Matthews, Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance and Club board member; Atty. After the judging, guest speakers and sponsors of the program, Pat Atkins (l-) and John Atkins (r) shared with the group why higher education is a wise choice to make after high school graduation.  Pictured is first place winner Leasia Bauza.  Leasia will participate in the Pennsylvania State Youth of the Year competition held in Pittsburgh representing the Boys & Girls Clubs of NEPA is early April.
