Dr. Thomas-Hemak to Serve on Board at
Boys & Girls Clubs of NEPA



Linda Thomas-Hemak MD, has accepted to serve on the board of directors at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeastern Pennsylvania.  Responsibilities include: serving on two committees; fundraising and development; establishing Club policies; and continuing the Club’s mission.  Dr. Thomas-Hemak is a board certified Internal Medicine and Pediatrics primary care doctor at the Wright Center for Primary Care Mid-Valley practice. She is the Internal Medicine Residency Program Director for the Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education. She is an active and founding board member and secretary of the board of trustees for The Commonwealth Medical College.  Dr. Thomas-Hemak notably participates in the Pennsylvania Chronic Care Practice and Residency Medial Home transformation initiatives. She is a vested advocate of the Patient Centered Medical Home delivery model and Meaningful Use of electronic medical records to enhance patient care, patient engagement and community health.  Dr. Thomas-Hemak resides in Jermyn with her husband, Mark, and three children Mason, Maya and Antoinette.
