Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees Donate Items
to Boys & Girls Clubs of NEPA

SCRANTON – The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees recently spent some time with members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeastern Pennsylvania.  The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees representatives handed out fitted hats, t-shirts and baseball playing cards to the members while their mascot, Champ spent some time with the children.

“The Boys & Girls Clubs of NEPA is a wonderful organization who provides so much to our area and we could not be happier to have the opportunity to strengthen our relationship with the community,” explained Rob Crain, SWB Yankees president and general manager.

“The causes that the Boys & Girls Clubs of NEPA represent, including building self-esteem and providing educational assistance to our youth, are what impress us most. We’re happy to provide a few gifts to brighten the kids’ day,” said Ryan Beardsley, SWB community relations manager.
